The Automobile Magazine app will not let me read my magazines now in iOS 8.1.3. The app wastes my time with Authentication Failed messages. I want my weekend back.

It just doesnt work. I subscribed to the paper edition and cant access. Its primitive.

How can I write a review of an app that refuses to open and work? My iPhone and iPad apps for this magazine will not open or says that I cant download the current issue even though Im subscribed until 2017. Hmm, I expected better from Automobile.

After using for years as a print subscriber the latest issue has repeated errors when trying to download. I guess they dont test these apps before releasing updates.

I wish I can give it an 0! All the bad things described from others are 100% true!

Unable to download back issues or latest issue and wont let me sign in... Despite a newly active and paid subscription.

I have been a subscriber for years and had online access previously. I had to reset my password which seem to go fine, however after "successfully" resetting it 20 times I still cannot log in.

App has had a download issue for about a week. It will not download any issues. Support is nonexistent. Not worth the frustration.

I can no longer sign in and download issues although Im an all access subscriber. I have reset my password over and over, apparently successfully, but trying to sign in always returns "authentication failed." Very disappointing.

I used to love this app when it was truly a multimedia experience. I would think, "This is the future of reading magazines on an iPad!" Being able to click through to videos, high-res photos, and other connected content made me a big fan of this mag and app. Then they abandoned the interactive app and made it just a PDF of the print mag. It was handy to be able to read on my iPad but was nothing different from the one I get in the mail. NOW, I cant access or download the newest edition. Something in the cloud is broken and they are in no hurry to fix it. I have emailed customer service twice with not even the courtesy of a reply. At this point I cant even log back into my account and my subscription is paid through Feb. 2017. I think it is time to consider other publications who devote some resources and care to their digital app. Motor Trend here I come!

App was great 6 months ago, now I cant log in anymore. Reset password appears successful but always "authentication failed". Ive emailed customer service a few times, and theres never a response. Automobile used to be a great publication, but after their recent reorganization, theyve fallen fast. This ongoing technical glitch is just anothers sign. I wont be renewing my subscription.

Lately I cannot download any issues due to an unexplained "error" and if you email customer support youll die of old age before hearing from them. Obviously something needs updating. Lets get on with this please.

Great content, i have been subscriber for years on iPad. Lately though auth errors keep me from access. Support nonexistent. I have cancelled renewal and switched to Car & Driver. Check out the overwhelmingly positive reviews.

Although I am a print subscriber, I am unable to down load the digital version. This is a new problem with the September issue after I changed my email address. My rating is NO stars!! HELP!!!

When the app decides to forget you, there is little to no help in getting access to the magazine. The current issue (and given this is happening to both car magazines supported by The Enthusiast Network this is likely an app developer problem). However resolution is completely unavailable and this reflects on the choices of the magazine. This is the fourth time this has happened. A very poor showing.

Once again useless. You will have download problems every 6 months.

I liked automobile before digital version. While the app does occasionally outdo the print version with content, the major FAIL is the inability to stitch photo spreads together for magazine content. Of course two page ads do not have this problem. Continued problems with downloads and sign in. Arrgh

The app is now completely nonfunctional as of the September issue. Doesnt let you download any issues or read previous issues. Doesnt work when you delete and reinstall the app either. Its been going on for almost two weeks now..called customer support and was told there was a software problem. It must be really bad if they cant fix it for this long! Completely useless!

Cannot log in, let alone download issues on the iPad anymore. Im a subscriber and have been getting "download error" for weeks. Tried resetting password, etc., to no avail. Many recent AppStore reviews mention this issue as well, so I know Im not the only one.... Have reached out to Automobile (and Motor Trend another SIM brand which is having the same issues) and they have not responded at all. Very frustrating. Zero stars.

I have bee unable to download the latest edition of the magazine despite reinstalling it, logging in to my online account on my mac, trying to get my password reset (after error message telling me the email address I just used online wes invalid, and more time wasting attempts to download the Emag. Very frustrating, and, I am beginning to think it is a problem from Automobiles side, not mine?
